The Interlandi Halloween
This section of the website is less about my own personal acheivement and more about documenting the Hallow's Eve shenanigans of my bizarre family. A project that started with a mere three gravestones turned into a tradition that built Notre Dame and the Trojan Wall.
As the concepts (and plywood) grew grander, so did the crowds of onlookers and news coverage. By the end we were employing full shifts of neighborhood volunteers to help us build our thematic visions, and dressing full casts for performance on Halloween night.
Everything you see here is the result of our collective brainpower and sweat. Even though we decided to end the tradition after 10 years, the basement of our house in Nashville, Tenessee is still a museum filled with mannequins, painted plywood, costumes, rubber animals, and assorted plastic body parts.
